Beginning our 134th Year of Serving the Lord
In 1884, Miss Nellie Moon, a teacher in a local school, preached a revival in a brush arbor constructed on property owned by James Kallam. A brush arbor meeting was an evangelistic technique using a temporary, out-of-doors structure to shelter the faithful who would come from miles and miles around to hear the word of God preached. Following the revival, the decision was made to organize a church called “Kallam Grove Christian Church”.
In October 2017, we at Kallam Grove Christian Church began our 134th year of serving the Lord at the site of the brush arbor meeting. (Brief History of Kallam Grove) If you are looking for a new church home, we offer to you our most cordial invitation and welcome.
